Somatic repatterning is an experiential learning process. Through gentle movement, we discover what’s possible as we move within the body’s own natural design. We explore a variety of movement options while rediscovering the body’s organic and fluid way of moving. We learn to trust the transformational power of subtle, yet precise movement that integrates the whole living organism.
The nervous system is bathed in a sense of well being and safety as we learn to listen to our body’s internal cues guided by an “easy does it”.
Habitual patterns of strain and tension that are pain-producing and occur as a result of over-use, stress and stored trauma are replaced by more coordinated, easeful and integrated ways of moving.
We begin to enjoy the natural movement that comes from a harmonious coordination of the whole body when it’s free of constraints and limitation.
