Structural Integration is an advanced method of bodywork that releases patterns of stress and imbalance in the body’s myofascial system which result in impaired function and/or pain.
Through fascial manipulation, awareness and movement education the natural alignment of the body is restored along with postural balance and functional ease.
The focus of Structural Integration (S.I.) to balance the body through the connective tissue or fascia.
Lisa is one of the most educated and experienced Bodyworkers I have had the pleasure to care for me. She has many years of training and also stays current in her field which is vast. I believe bottom line she is not only incredibly intelligent in her practice yet she is most certainly gifted..No matter what your injury she can help you in your recovery with hands on work and also as a teacher she will help you recognize and learn to care for yourself.

Fascia is a protective layer of fibrous tissue that surrounds and encompasses every muscle, and every fiber of every muscle, tendon, bone and organ. It gives our bodies their shape and support.
Over time and with accidents, injuries and habitual use fascia can become shortened, twisted or glued down preventing the body from moving and functioning freely.
I was waiting a couple of days to give you some feedback. What happened last Tuesday was unbelievable! My shoulder got 90% better and my lower back is pain free. Later that evening when I was raising my arm it felt like it was gonna fly off like an helium balloon, it was so light.
And my lower back…. I just did the raising of the hips right and then left and it is even and pain free. I know my shoulder is not 100% but what a difference. I am being very careful to move it the right way and not jam it back to where it was.
I was home cleaning all day and it was 90% pain free. It is amazing. I am looking forward to Tuesday and Wednesday.
Thank you so much.

The field of gravity is an unseen force that is always interacting with the human body. In the misaligned state the body compensates to remain upright within gravity placing undue stress on joints and spinal vertebrae. This results in pain, stiffness, fatigue, and a myriad of seemingly unrelated heath problems often blamed on old age.
Since fascia is pliable and maliable and can be reshaped by removing adhesions which allow the layers to slide and glide freely as you bend and move. This reduces the strain and pressure on the joints and nerves. Through slow, deep manipulation of the fascia the connective tissue becomes aligned and hydrated creating length and space for the body to move unrestricted.
