When there has been an injury, surgery, or trauma to one side of the body the body organism unconsciously leans either away from in the injury, as in a sprained ankle to take the weight off of it, or it folds into the site of injury as if protecting the area of insult or surgery. In this class we will balance the two sides of the body by addressing the “Trauma Reflex.” Since this is a learned pattern we can use our neuro-plastic brains to unlearn this adaptive pattern and relearn how to restore balance to the two sides of the body.
