The design of our body is to move in a variety of different ways. Without variation in our movements the spine can develop “amnesia” and forget how it optimally functions. Our sedentary lifestyle has created a culture who experiences more compression and stiffness in the spine from lack of movement. This week’s class will be an exploration into the magnificent flexibility that the spine is designed for and capable of.
